I had Handyman Roofing completely replace a tile roof on my house that was leaking. I was very happy with their overall performance. The initial contract was worked out with the owner of the company. I verified that Handyman had adequate amounts of insurance of which I found other roofing companies did not have meaningful amounts. Also, I found that Handyman’s Terms and Conditions were acceptable, where other companies’ contacted were not.
Rob Irwin was assigned to be my single point of contact and Supervisor of the work. Rob was almost always on site participating in the work or was immediately available through his cell phone, or less than an hour away in case I had questions. In any case, Rob was excellent.
The entire job took less than 2 weeks. Rob made sure that the loads on the driveway from the heavy tile unloading equipment were minimized by use of plywood. Damage to the property and shrubbery was negligible. I think that the successful completion of the job was due to 1) Rob being the supervisor, and 2) this company has its own employees doing the work.
The Wind Mitigation Report they gave me for the new roof resulted in a decrease in my house insurance.
Upon completion of the work, Rob made sure that the area was completely cleaned up. Actually, our property was left clean and neat each night when the workmen left, and the necessary noise was kept to a minimum–only 2 days, really. Your entire staff was courteous and pleasant.. You should be proud of them all. We have already recommended your company to neighbors, should they need your services.
